New release from Maison Boanton with the « Heritage » limited edition

 

Maison Boanton is launching a watch which is going to talk to the heart of watch and car lovers and particularly the aficionados of the famous Alpine A110. Indeed this « Heritage » was inspired by the emotion of this iconic French car and so many details are a cool wink that will be immediately recognizable by the Alpine lovers.


The Racing hands inspired by the vintage steering wheel and the vintage blue dial reminescent of the car paint of the original Berlinette A110 launched in 1955





The chrome rounded bezel inspired by the chrome car bumpers





The luminous ring in luminova, a cool wink to the light signature of the car…








It seems every detail has been carefully considered, leaving nothing to chance. Even the alcantara strap, black with blue stitching, echoes the design cues of the Alpine’s bucket seat and its racing heritage.







It is a very cool and original watch reminiscent of the Alpine spirit which is celebrating its 70 years anniversary this year.

I was going to forget: why 252 pcs Limited Edition? Simply because the new A110 has 252 hp! Cool isn’t it?

And fitting the Alpine vibe very well (in my eyes better than the official watches). Just one small detail - the A110 was launched in October 1962, not 1955 (the year of the other French icon, the DS). 😊

this looks like their best attempt yet. I've always liked their cushion case, but the Ellipse and the Emblème left me a bit unsatisfied. This new model looks great, but the automotive inspiration is so strong with the steering wheel hands that it seems ha... 

You might be right, it might be hard to relate if you are not an Alpine or at least car fan but…

…this is a limited edition of only 252 pcs so it shouldn’t be a problem for this watch to find its clients. And yes they have a new classic collection also. I’ll talk about it shortly…😉

I don't know anything about the brand, or the quality. But this seems like a very well thought out piece for a more than fair price. I have gambled on 2 similar purchases in the last 5 years. I ordered the initial Laventure diver and Airain Type 20 Verte ...
