The more it gets recognised by people the less interesting it is.
The mass simply doesn’t know what’s great. If I see someone has something hyped I always question him and need to take a deeper look in his collection.

Jay said it well, sometimes a watch is classic and then who cares who else has it? I have a watch that became hyped and I love it the same as if no one had it.

I stay away from hyped watches even if I quite like some.
