The 1601 is rated 50m - I pressure test it to 100m - no problem. And I have been diving with it too.

Yes, but it is an actual 100m, you can dive with it if it's been pressure checked.

Hodinkee, for all its flaws, did a neat profile of a woman who has been diving for decades. She dives with a yellow gold dj36 and has for years.

I do not know if I would dive with it however. WR is an odd thing. They test the watch to static water pressure of whatever it is. But, any motion of the water drastically increases the effective pressure. Thus, watches certified to 30 meters WR should be...
