Good you post such a news item, Whiskey.
Why?
I feel specialized in Sellita equipped watches.
Than you can quest, why Weems have such an interest?
Answer:
I shop a lot of watches with Sellita engines and wear them daily.

Experience:

For almost three years, this is my first Sellita.
I am satisfied how it ticks.

Ok, picture two is a bit too heavy for this app.

First impression is positive.

Farer.
A nice made affordable watch for several occasions.
On the pictures you post it is clear, Farer is a good start for people stepping into the watch collecting hobby. Passion, etc.

We keep in touch about brands who use Sellita for their models.
Honestly, i have confidence in this movement supplier.

I like what they have to offer.. Price points that are hard to argue with, they don't break the bank. To me their world timer looks interesting.

I dunno guys...

If we are swayed by this kind of watch... what exactly do we 'stand for'? It's nice, no doubt, etc. But what do we really have here? A Selitta (remember when ETA was the lowest level mvmnt?) with a nice color choice of dials? So what? Not to be unkind but...

Please tell us…

What are the “minimum” standards of a watch for it to be worthy of a Purist’s appreciation and acceptance?
