New baby brother (to my watch)

When the AP RO 15500 got announced last year, it was notable that the silver dialed version was missing from this iteration. This, being the dial color of my 15400 version, piqued my interest. Why would they retire that dial? Poor sales? Difficulty in man...

AP also put in the new movement that is in their C.O.D.E. 11.59 watch.

I think it's good to see the new movement in the new silver dial version. A next step up would be to have this movement fully hand-finished.

Agree on both counts. I don’t want to offend any C.O.D.E 11:59 owners, so I’ll just second you on the full hand-finishing comment.

A well-renowned YouTube watch reviewer had recently brought up the fact that the finishing of the FPJ CB is partly machine-finished and partly hand-finished, “just like AP”, which was an efficient way to poke fun at two watch brands that he clearly expect...

15400 ...

You mean the 15300?

The white dial is a bit flatter than in 400 and 500, but the blue is just right IMO. And size and proportions are perfect. ...

I suppose this is the baby baby brother

I like them all. Cazalea ...

I like the longer applied markers of the 15400 over the new one.

Now it seems you have to get the 15202 for the longer applied markers. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ New markers seem less proportional, just a matter of taste I guess. ...
