In fact, I think I know how you feel as I recognize myself in what you wrote.
But I must add I have this feeling for all of my watches. I wear them alternatively, for 1 to 2 months period each. The cycle must help beeing excited to wear them again and thus explains why I suddenly know in the middle of the day that I've got it on my wrist and makes me smile.
There is not only one watch to cause this pleasure, as far as I'm concerned. Does this mean that I chose the right watches? Maybe. There is a watch I sold as it didn't provide me this sensation enough.
This is definitely a good sign!
By the way, your Tradition would give the same feeling to many folks up here I think
