An excellent comparison, and many thanks ... but why do you conclude this design is risky? One would have to examine and compare the mechanisms in detail to determine any similarities, of course, but surely as a concept this is more a case of resurrecting...

first of all thanks for taking the time to go in details between both creations . my vote goes for Lange as well .. in my own words A LANGE IS a finalized sober watch... while Journe's watch seems like concept which they still can squeeze out a final watc...

not a doubt.....It's more attractive,gives the sense of the "solid"Lange watch,it's cool.....it's my fav Lange in production..and If only I could lay my hand on a Luminous,I will close my collecting carreer...Swear!! Thanks FX for the beautiful comparison... 

And imo well overdue. It was always on the cards, from the moment that these two timepieces were launched, that at some time they would go head to head. I have only been able to see the Zeitwerk once and have never seen the Journe. But from an early stage...

I have to tell you that I love the V1... one of the nicest wandering hours watches I've ever seen. I presume you have the same number for both watches ? Fr.Xavier
