of insurance and security definitely factor into how many pieces I own and how much I pay for them… Also, one of the reasons I prefer to buy new.. otherwise you’re haggling with an insurance company about what a vintage piece might be worth.
Even though it makes the hobby less fun, it’s why I keep most of my pieces at the bank. I also made a hiding spot that nobody will ever find that I store my watches in at home. If they found it, I’d be shocked 😂
