but it was reliable, beautiful and offered terrific value.

Mine sounds like there is a couple grains of sand in the movement while winding. I bought it used so wasn't sure if that's how it always sounded, but since it's worked perfectly I never bothered looking into it. I guess that's just one of the unique chara...
