Longines 2023 - Flyback Chronograph

Jun 08, 2023,09:50 AM

Recently viewed several collections of Longines in a cabin of the Singapore Flyer, 165m above the ground.
A recap of the day  ... before seeing their most impressive - the Flyback Chronograph.

Embarking for the 30 minute trip ...

Taking flight ...

Soon reaching the highest point  ...

Now for the Longines Flyback Chronograph.

A brief history, Longines could be one of the pioneers of Flyback chronograph and patented the complication in 1936.  Their previous edition was over 50 years ago, in 1968.

This new automatic 42mm stainless steel Collection comes in various optional straps (shown below pics).

The strange thing is the bracelet option is just about SGD150 higher than both the leather and fabric strap.

Other notable and wonderful pieces  ...

The view at the peak facing the Marina Bay Sands and the Central Business District of Singapore ...

Which option of the Flyback  version appeal to you?

have an event in one of these cabins. Can’t wonder anywhere for 30 mins so everyone focuses on the watches

Like Nicolas, my eyes popped at the sight of the Conquests . . .

. . . particularly the black dial. Do you know case dimensions, Kong? My '56 Conquest is 35 mm.

Green bezel

I guess this is a Conquest. Green bezel, black dial. Just a good combo.

Love

What in the world i like that brand. The flying hourglass on the cabin is just wonderful. The watches are breathtaking. The best have to cost no fortune. I like that green Longines so much, i feel it.

That’s a very popular

Imho, they are really punching above their weight the last couple of years. If only they could reduce the lug to lug!
