It was a marker sketch for an oil painting I never got around to. The second is an unfinished oil painting that I just decided was "done enough" as-is because I got tired of painting it.

Wonderful watch! I'll look it up, it's very interesting. I have to admit, Giger was a major influencer of my own art back when I was actively drawing and painting. Today my studio is more for relaxing than painting, something I should change.

...and I had also take a lot of drawing and illustration classes. There were essentially two tracks: design or illustration. I was a decent artist then, but when people showed their work to the class I knew I was not going to make it as an illustrator : )...

So cool. Two beautiful and unique objects. I miss seeing more of Armin Strom's work (I really liked his Earth, Wind, Fire series he did a few years back). Very nice pairing!
