Info and pics of the upcoming Sinn U1000 chronograph!

Notable details about the U1000:

1. 60 minute as opposed to conventional 30 minute counter, this enables the elapsed time to be read at a glance instead of having to figure it out with a 30 minute counter

2. Crown and pushers on the left to prevent them from digging into the wrist

3. Chronograph is operable underwater; large and flat chronograph buttons allow for ease of use even with diving gloves

4. Watch has special oils to enable operation from -40 deg. C to +80 deg. C.

5. Case is filled with argon gas and has a copper sulphate capsule to keep movement dry

I must admit I was hoping for something less complicated, perhaps a chrono like the EZM1 with no subdials, but nonetheless I can't wait to see this in the metal!

Case is 44mm in diameter and 18mm high. The material is the same as the other U1 series, submarine steel from ThyssenKrupp, all Tegiment treated; the black version is PVD-coated as well. - SJX This message has been edited by SJX on 2008-01-19 18:56:11
