Inductive Charging....

...Well, in the watch field, Seiko have been using inductive chargers (mainly at the service centres) since the AGS/Kinetic was launched in the late 80's.

Humble electric toothbrushes commonly use inductive chargers. (In fact, people have been experimenting with using the toothburish charger as a Seiko Kinetic charger....)

Anyway, I'm not trying to bag the watch, I am just puzzled by it's appeal. To paraphrase what an earlier poster wrote on another Devon Tread thread, I think it underachieves based on available technology.
