INCOMING. NWA.

Here she is; my baby. It took a little over a year from final agreement (between our small watch club and Hanhart) to delivery, but waiting makes the heart grow fonder

Facts:
  • Hanhart 417 BZ Green Body Limited Edition for 10:10 LABS
  • 39 x 13.3 mm (46 mm lug-to-lug)
  • Aluminum-bronze alloy (CuAl10Ni5Fe4), which takes longer to acquire patina, used for the case/crown/pushers with stainless steel solid caseback with 10:10 LABS logo
  • Fluted, continuously rotatable bezel with red marking
  • Green Sunray dial (Green Body influence) with Superluminova on hands and numerals.
  • Historical hanhart logo on dial and crown
  • Shockproof and Antimagnetic on the dial (similar to the original 417 ES)
  • ‘Green Body’ describes the color used to paint WW2 aircraft fuselages because of the Lamp Black paste added over the Zinc-Chromate anti-corrosion primer pain. While the pastel of the Green Body and the Green Sunray dial differ, the idea of adding Green Body technology to reduce corrosion mirrors the reasoning behind adding aluminum to the bronze alloy of the case
  • High-domed anti-reflective convex sapphire glass
  • Sellita SW510-M (28,800 VPH/4 Hz) cam-operated chronograph with hacking and jumping minute Chrono hand.
  • 58 hr PR
  • 10 bar water resistant according to DIN 8310
  • 16,000 A/m magnetic resistance via soft iron cage
  • Shock resistant via ‘damping mechanism ‘on the movement holding ring that absorbs shocks
  • Black or dark brown cowhide leather strap with white stitching and a matching lower strap. Alcantara on the inside
  • 10 pieces created exclusively for the 10:10 LABS watch club out of the Middle East

Still early in the honeymoon phase, but the bronze is very close in tone to yellow gold, and the bund strap is super comfortable. The cam-operated chrono activation is firm and enjoyable. I definitely pushed for a flyback chrono, but that option wasn’t available at an acceptable price point for the timepiece. Will report back on chronometry after a run-in period, and the aftermarket strap gears in my head are already turning.

Thanks for looking

Enjoy, seasons greetings to all, and stay safe

Hussam

Hanhart 417 is in the same league of chrono design icons as Speedy . . .

Generally not a fan of green but the case color helps a lot in my opinion. Congrats on making this happen, looking forward to more live pics!

Glad that you find it appetizing.

I first saw this combo on an IWC pilot Chrono, TBH, but the price point, case size and thickness didn’t suit me (not to mention the ‘run of the mill’ bronze). Take care my friend

Not bad

Great Hanhart. I like watches which run by Sellita. Now you can experience a Sellita in your Hanhart. Remember, when a watch maison chose Sellita, they do it while they know Sellita is a good movement supplier. Keep the price keen, spacing fame. That’s wh...

Hanhart has a very strong background of historical prominence (supplying the post-war German Air Force and, subsequently, the French Air Force).

For the price point, the case/dial/hands/strap quality is unmatched IMHO. And this special bronze alloy has to be seen to be appreciated. Go for it; take the dive!

Good news

I use a collecting direction, and i judge which ones are Weems approved. Hanhart after a bigger look, is allright to join the family. Due to it’s great history you said, and the brand keeps up at a part of my brains to be interesting enough to not forget....

💪🏿💪🏿

But all ended up well. Thanks NLCC. BTW: did you go back to the old profile name?

Looks great on the Bund Strap

Lovely custom piece from the watch club, and wow only 10 pieces made

Thanks Cookies. It’s a small club, and not all the members partake in every run.
