Horological Meandering

I take your point on the pushers and sub-registers.

 

The first vintage Daytonas with the Oyster cases had much more refined pushers - still screw down, but not as chunky. I believe they mere referred to as millerighe pushers.



I also prefer solid sub-registers, but find the 3D effect of the slight recess on the Speedy sunken registers really appealing.
