Having seen the sandblasted gold Octo in person, I can say it’s amazing.
It’s what you want, all gold but with some of the edge taken off and as such it’s no longer “in your face” if you will. I think the finish (and the design of the watch) probably throws the average eye off in terms of them not immediately seeing a full on ...
