which is quite an impressive piece as well. It is getting quite vintage by now too. A former colleague owned one when I started working and I admired it from a distance.

Having seen the sandblasted gold Octo in person, I can say it’s amazing.
It’s what you want, all gold but with some of the edge taken off and as such it’s no longer “in your face” if you will.
I think the finish (and the design of the watch) probably throws the average eye off in terms of them not immediately seeing a full on gold watch. A good thing.
I don't have many regrets with watch collecting. But selling my RO skeleton perp for pennies on the dollar about 5 years ago, is definitely one of them.
Seeing yours really makes me miss mine. Great piece you have there.
