Yes, of course if you have a bigger diameter, and the mass is further outside, this helps. But, I mean, the heavyweight metal is just at the outside then, and the micro rotor is usually totally out of gold, platinum or tungsten! 

Also, the bearing is essential!
I can remember, around 10 years ago, when Sellita started producing ceramic bearings, they simply didn’t work, because the polishing was not smooth enough. So essentially, the power reserve was not really reached, despite the big diameter…
