No Tissot is a major brand that falls under the Swatch umbrella like Omega, Breguet, Longines and many other brands.

That's a cool watch, and I like the additional photos down the thread too. Tissot has a deep back catalogue and occasionally delivers nice reminders. My 1997 Chronometro Janeiro is one example, based on Omega-Tissot-Lemania chronos of the 1930s.
