I bought this spray for work boots. It is supposed to protect
against salt, mud, and oil. I sprayed it on my Camille Fornet, and so far it has lasted twice as long as the one before and it still looks new. The back didn't even begin to darken for 6 months, and I wear it to the gym all the time. I found that treating the strap with some type of silicone increases the life many fold.

Leather strap
Hello, I am considering buying Master Compressor with leather strap, but I heard that if wearing the watch every day the strap won't last 6 months, is that true? Anybody have any comments? Thanks,
Yes, it is true
Especially in humid and hot climates. Leather straps will last longest if given a day or more to 'rest' after being worn. If you intend to wear a watch on a daily basis, it will be best to have it on a metal or rubber band. - SJX
