I am not the poster, but I believe this is at a bar called The Interval on the north side of San Francisco. I live right up the hill, the 10,000 year clock is a very interesting project to read about.

if you want to read more about the Long Now Foundation, it is very interesting. A man by the name of Stewart Brand is one of the founders. He has a long history of interesting projects!
