I am not the poster, but I believe this is at a bar called The Interval on the north side of San Francisco. I live right up the hill, the 10,000 year clock is a very interesting project to read about.

All were taken at the Interval bar in San Francisco. It is a cool bar. And is also home of the Long Now foundation. They encourage long term thinking. Also one of their projects is working to build s 10,000 year clock. I believe the orrery in the photos i...

if you want to read more about the Long Now Foundation, it is very interesting. A man by the name of Stewart Brand is one of the founders. He has a long history of interesting projects!
