I am partial to watch winders and this I must admit is one of the best at that price range.

How's your beautiful watch winder? Has it been reliable? It certainly was expensive, but a work of art in its own right!

The Bernard Favre Planet is working admirably. I love it so much that I am about to acquire a set of three!! The only snag is that I need to fly to Singapore to get it and with the virus, I have to be a bit patient.

Set of three! That'll be a nice little sculpture garden once arranged altogether!

It comes on an aluminium plinth so it should be quite a spectacle to have all three rotating simultaneously. For once, the watches may have to take a back seat!!

Console table with hurricane lamps, gigantic candles, some vases with green moss and flowers, and a few watch winders scattered in there... The watches will be taking a back seat!

Great guy, seems to me to be one of the few "good human beings" left within the watch industry.

most watchmakers were nice and humble. Kari Voutilainen for example for me is the humblest of beings. Roger Smith is affable. Rexhep Rexhepi is also a nice chap and I like Romain Gauthier too.

Watch winders are becoming a necessity for difficult to set watches that you don't wear daily.

Those Patek Philippe Celestials are a pain to set! He has a watch winder, but he doesn't like them either. But with his collection, he really needs them! Badly!

Prefer a winder that has a delayed start. a fully wound watch off the wrist and placing it on a watchwinder that starts rotation. I like at least a 12 hour delay. Also the TPD during say a period when it will be on the winder. Say 10PM to 6 am. The Swiss...  

Good thought about Delayed Start. I've never had a winder with that feature. And I do agree, The B&Z models might be a good choice if you have a large safe. I personally haven't owned one, but most of them seem to be intended to be put on display. Yours h...

Smartwatches, particularly Apple Watch, now outsells the entire Swiss watch industry in units and soon in dollar value. Where will the Swiss watch industry be in twenty years? What can the Swiss watch industry do to adapt? They're not going to make better...

Submersible is Scatola Del Tempo's watch, wished it were mine! Hmm, come to think of it, a 15202 would be nice to put on a winder! Setting that date gets a little annoying sometimes.
