Horological Meandering

What would it take, to have every manufacturer list the weight of every watch including strap or bracelet?? ...  

I doubt I am the only one who has weighed their watches. It's relevant. I've also wondered about listing precious metal content.

In my case, it is for those too heavy to wear.

As someone mentions, it would show an increasing cutting of corners when it comes to the use of precious metals 😉 So quite unlikely. And not sure there’s a watch magazine out there that does this in a standardized way 🤷🏻‍♂️

They've also started listing thickness, lug-to-lug, and lug horn spacing. I take some pride in that ;-) Best, Tim

Though in my research I still run across occasional misses and internal inconsistencies Would love to get in there and tighten it up a bit!

Could be added along with weight

Heavy watches are nice, but light watches are even nicer!

Why the "hide" the weight... And why for certain watches, or certain models, you actually have to search for information when the "data" doesn't serve the manufacturer...
