As for #1, it is so true. I had illusions of it being be all end all, but that was quickly dispelled. Yeah, my wife was right on that one (hard to admit).
I love the Credor in #8, what an amazing watch.
And finally, #9 rings very true for me as it pertains to this site. I came looking to discuss and learn about watches and ended up with amazing new friendships. What a pleasant surprise and side effect.
