great movement, I wanted to share better photos but someone else did that too but here is my take on why Parmigiani is not at Patek /Lange levels

Finish aside (I am not an expert) we have to take into account that Parmigiani Fleurier do share this movement with a number of other brands under the same umbrealla.
For instance, the slim d'Hermes, if I am not mistaken, has the same movement just different decoration. Even some Richard Mille used Fleurier movements.
None of this is wrong but, both Patek and Lange, can enjoy a better positioning due to the true manufacture 100% exclusive movements.
Brand is another consideration that is essential. Untill recently Parmigiani did benefit from large funding from the Sandoz foundation so perhaps didn't have to sell that much.
They have now changed course and the new PF sport watches have the same movement, a different finish, but an higher price (20K in steel).
In summary, the finish of the Parmigiani Tonda is perfectly fine but I still see a Patek or Lange to offer move value.
