And most of all, a great project. I am not surprised it took so long to get the green light from SII to go ahead. Japanese companies are so risk averse. They need to start taking risks, especially with projects like this. This is a small project yes, but it will broaden their audience to include people wanting something rare and special and distinctive. I would love to be one of the lucky 8 to get this first edition so it is good to be one of the first to know about this project, so thankyou Ken. This watch reminds me of the Mitsuoka Motors Orochi, but unlike that snakelike car, this watch has real substance inside. I'll be back in Japan this Autumn to visit my family, and hopefully place an order.

It was mentioned that part of the reason for undertaking this project was to initiate increased promotion of the Shizuku-Ishi brand. Does this mean that there are future plans for a more accessible watch collection bearing the name Shizuku-Ishi?
