glad you kept the chronographe
I use the function regularly and have never had problems with this watch, nor with one - sorry, I try to forget which one - of the other four. 
These were mainly due to metal fatigue from an alloy in the winding train and never to sloppy workmanship or lack of a stringent quality control. Service was always friendly and relatively fast compared with that of many other "brands".
I am not a "serious collector" but a serious enthusiast and wearer, as I hope you are too.

The Centigraphe and their Tourbillon
Both are just sublime. I'm mainly a Rolex and Patek guy and maybe one day I will pull the trigger on a Lange or Journe. The downside being, that it hardly ever stops at just one. Regards Rene
