Frank Muller: are they for real?
Folks,
Mostel's recent post on Hermes brought about an interesting discussion about why and who we buy watches from. This brought on a question that has long lingered in my mind - why is Frank Muller not considered a WIS watch brand? Apologies if they are but it is not my impression. You can't take away the fact that they can design a complicated watch. Can anybody comment on how they work? Are they reliable? In any case, here is a company that completely "invested" in watch making, builds some interesting watches (I like the Curvee case design, the crazy and suspended hour watches that shows a fun side) although there are few selections in traditional round watches. Why have they found more traction in the WIS world?
Any comments/pictures from owners and opinions of others about this brand?
J.
