For me, it’s down to two also....
...my most versatile watches, Journe’s Chronometre Bleu and Patek’s Nautilus 5711. I usually travel with one of these two as they can easily fit a variety of situations.
Slight bias towards the Journe if the plan is to get greasy. Neither work too well if the plan involves getting wet !

So it would have to be a toss up between my Rolex Daytona 116509 meteorite dial, Patek Nautilus 5980/1A-014 black dial, or 5990/1A. In the end, would probably choose the 5990/1A due to the chronograph AND dual time functionality as well as still remaining...
