Without question Sarpaneva is a very interesting watchmaker with original, bold ideas. Interesting that Finland by the names of Sarpaneva and Voutilainen has entered the world map of haute horlogie - who would have thought of that? I have visited Helsinki several times and had numerous collaborations with Finns - love the country and its citizens. The aesthetics of Sarpaneva, however, doesn't speak to me, albeit I find his creations quite intriguing.
Thanks for widening my knowledge about this watchmaker.
