I'm a huge fan of vintage Movados. The chronographs, in particular, are absolutely perfect in their symmetry and beauty. Great pieces. But unfortunately on the smallish side placed next to today's timepieces. I'm sure there's much more to this story that I do not know—most I've seen are in the 32-34mm range. One nice 36 on watchuseek at the moment. But nothing larger that I've encountered. Perhaps you can enlighten me! In any case I like your example with the funky numerals. Congratulations! FH

No story other than said above but it was one of two vintage Mavados I had bought at the same auction for the cal 150 parts. The other is a Marine from 1942 with an inscription on the back, 30mm case, which does have a story I discovered on the internet. ...
