Not a date hater but in this case I am disturbed by the date location in the first watch. This is however very personal and I feel that you cannot go wrong with either of the two watches.

Which makes the later the easy choice. They are different enough that at the right price point, get both and then resell the one you end up not wearing? (Or keep them both?)
