Mine has hers on the wrist since our wedding some 14 years ago. Still happily ticking away and just requires a new battery and strap every now and then. Yours is the rarer dark grey version, matches well with grey satin straps too

Pretty uncommon but really nice on the wrist. One side is pretty standard, the other one also has a jumping hour that is really fine.

Or probably don't know, but I remember a Chronoswiss (regulator?) that had the movement rotated 90 degrees to have the big big crown at 12 o'clock, ad looked like a pocket watch but I don't think it was detachable. Edit: you're right, and I also my memory...
