Brands are way more transparent now than they used to be!
Le Cercle has been publicly credited by the brands for almost of the examples I used, same with many of the examples from La Fab. du Temps and MHC. Compare this to "according to Carole Forestier the movement is in-house, and not derived from any Roger Dubuis calibre" (the movement was, in fact, derived from a Roger Dubuis caliber)
I’m always a bit disappointed that fashion brands are allowed to just
buy into haute horologie. To me the repeater is the pinnacle of watch making savior faire. And LV just buys one and slaps their logo on it.

It's extremely detailed, pictures came lite. We all know that the (abused) term of in-house has become deceitful. NDA is the common practice, there are only few brands like MB&F that freely describe if there's any outsourced part.

Independents Vs big brands
Today is hard, almost impossible to hide the truth. Social media are mostly a ruin, but at least the knowledgeable ones like you can spread revealing comparisons that can't be manipulated.
