Let me say it straight, if it had a manual winding movement, I would have kept it, as I loved everything about this watch, except this " greedy " battery I had to change every two months. Macho case, superb dial, great hands... But the " movement "... Ala...

You said it perfectly. Hand wound would be made the Wittnauer a dream watch. I see the plastic in the movement. I am not a fan of plastic in a watch, even it is accurate as the nearest atom clock. Mechanical is not always accurate, and even time will vari...

I used to own the prequel to the electrochron. I don't thnik it had a name. mayme manuochron would be fitting ! It lacked the electric arc styling cues in the second hand and logo, but the glorious hour hand is there ...
