The term "Calatrava"
Calatrava is synonymous with the round watches of Patek Philippe. Can the term "Calatrava" be associated with any other brand of watches since it is considered to be a style of watch vs a trademarked name, or is it trademarked??
Not with other watches but the calatrava cross can be associated with the Order of Calatrava which once battled against muslims...
...and now Patek Philippe sells this cross to them, which is somewhat ironic, lol. #artofcapitalism #shameonwrist
Why do you ask?
I don't see it as listed as a trademark, but then again, i'm not looking hard enough. I do see Patek Philippe being very upset if another watch company were to be called "Calatrava" or have a line of watches called "Calatrava."
