Quite a stunning collection you had!!! Of all your watches, the three I like most are the Accutron Snorkel 666 with two crowns, with a similar case shape than mine, the round spaceview and the speedsonic. Speedsonics are rare here, but I would like to get...  

the snorkel is quite a rare piece and the round space view is the original one. i dont think i'll buy anymore due to maintenance issues no matter how i like them. as you can see, i get a bit addicted to themes best G...  

Something that not many of us can or know how to do, most of the times I make buys from the eye and the heart, not planning at all. That makes me stand away from important pieces I would like. But been lucky anyway My best. René

Like Graham, I've also owned many of these over the years. It was the first older watch I started collecting. Fortunately, I've found great resources for parts and repair here in the US, enough to keep these as ones that won't be leaving my collection any...

Rene, that australian site also has all the case numbers for original spaceviews in one of its many pages. my last spaceview is listed there. the list is not long so i cant believe that all of the spaceviews are there, however, there are usually more spac... 

...and they often require a careful look to see if they are genuine since the same movement went into all models. Conversion hands and crystals abound, making this often easy to do (although many variations required a chapter ring and spacer).

I did search into their database, but the caseback number of mine doesn't appear in it. I'll continue searching until I can find something, nice detective work uh? In the meantime, I hope some othes purist shows up with a similar model. Best regards. Ren&...

Thanks for the post. I too have a collection of 214 and 218 model Accutrons. Right now I can only lay my hands on these two: I have a similar lunacy to Graham, only mine takes the form of buying up watches, parts, tools, etc. Hence the Bulova Accutron Mic...

There are two very big problems with this 1966 watch (well really more), First off it has a case back for a "Gold Filled Bezel" and this watch is a Stainless Steel Bezel so the case back is not original to this watch, Who knows what watch it came from ? A...
