I only let it go as i honestly have no use for a tourbillon in my life. It is a real shame that yours is in a radiomir style case as that automatically makes a lot of people think 'chinese fake' which the movement certainly is not. Mine was also very accu...

and it does everything u described until a rainy day when it get wet and i sent it to get repaired. the watchman told me since most of its parts r stamped hence lack durability over time, can anyone confirmed that? na interesting toy nonetheless cheers, E... 

Aren't many of the parts in an ETA movement stamped? What impact would stamping have on the durability of the materials? Are stamped parts usually made using softer alloys? I'm not as hopeful that quality Chinese tourbillons will reduce global prices - th... 

... is the issue here. As you state, many movements utilize stamped parts, such as wheels and hands. I do believe the Chinese-made tourbillons will have to exhibit more finishing and attention to detail before the Swiss would even consider lowering prices... 

I doubt the swiss will lower their prices. It is more likely that the chinese will raise theirs as their quality improves. As for cases, they should stick to round cases which no one can claim they invented. Then everything should be good. G On Nov 5, 201...

was keeping good time 1 days after getting wet even, & i ask the guy to dry it for me and he warned me about it... thx for clarification on the stamping parts, think i should visit the watch smith sometime cheers, Ed

... visiting the Sea-Gull Boutique in Hong Kong a few years ago and looking at a series of single and double tourbillons manufactured over a period of about 5 years. There was a very clear improvement in finishing of parts and aesthetic design. The prices...
