That is impressive if so! Such is the resolving power combined with high megapixels!

...was in fact a 100 percent crop of 1548x1048 pixels. In the posting process, the image was downsized by the PuristS server to the "standard" size (I'm not looking at it right now, but if memory serves it's something like 600x800, right?). So not an exac...

... which, however, does ot count for the quality of the Vianney engraving, which, to be frank, is a bit disappointing. Especially, since I recall VH timepieces to be practically perfect even under large magnifications. Regards, Marcus

I was startled to see the EOT -- in the exact version that I have in the safe! You have now learned what lots of macro photographers including myself know: that the EOT with the anthracite dial is virtually impossible to photograph without big reflections... 

That was taken almost 4 years ago, and yes, it is for taking watches that I started to get serious about cameras and lenses and other equipment. I have this, too :-) I actually like this dial color... Have a great week! Ken ...
