A huge and impressive watch. You are right, no need to link them to the 3rd Reich, but just " per se " as watches they are. The only problem is... Their size. 55 mm requires a huge wrist.

I’m of the same mind as you. I think the 40’s were an interesting time across all aeronautical instruments, and I’ve always loved flying / air planes. Hence my interest in this style

Amazing watch, before reading your post I just scrolled the photos and was shocked by the "adapted" chronograph movement to a center second. Initially I thought of a fake B-Uhr !
