thanks for sharing. I agree that the early vintage Grand Seikos are well worth collecting, and often compare favorably with the best of the Swiss from that era.

I know of a Japanese dealer which currently has several "first" GS models in stock. They are, needless to say, quite expensive, and – hold on to your hat – one is cased in platinum!
