I fell for the ALS Cabaret a long time ago, especially the RG with Moonphase. I felt it was a very elegant watch and technically was amazing to have the Lange grand date as well as the moonphase complication in the rectangular caliber.
I also really enjoy the GO Senator Karree, particularly the automatic Cal39 based QP version. Unlike the ALS it only had the form fitting caliber in the manual wind version. A small slight against it.
Then when Marco showed me the new model in 2017, his Georg, I was smitten. It took me a while to get my RG piece, and it’s in my top three pieces in my collection.
A pure example of Saxon watchmaking, with an enamel dial, which I quite partial to. The movement was a departure from Marco’s prior endeavors and it is a joy to look at under magnification!
You have shown many lovely watches and I appreciate your gathering these gems to share.
Here’s my beloved Georg

Cheers,
Tim
