In this case, occluded numbers destroy the dial, especially the "6"
The usual date messing up a good dial phenomenon.
I am not sure why Longines thinks having the date window there is good idea.
It will have been a much nicer looking piece if they just omit the date window altogether.
This has always been attractive
But I stop due to date window… It’s possible Longines is using heat blued method on some of their more recent offerings
Very attractive case, pushers, rehaut, handset and subdials.
Remove the date window and the logo underneath “Longines” and it would be much improved. The engraved “A” next to the “1” is a nice nod to Secretariat, which wore number “1A”.
