To create a uniques identity of GS (notably the angular lugs and sharp lines of case). It works in that it is instantly recognizable, unmistakable GS watch.
My concern is due to thick cases. When others can do GMT watch with thickness below 12 mm, GS can only manage minimum 13.5 mm. Also the diameter is mostly 39- 41 mm . I would love to see 37-38 mm with softer case lines, thickness 9-11 mm.
And then there is the price. With more and more brands able to make nice, excellent finish and in-house calibers with high tech like silicon hairspring etc, with price point below USD 4000, most new GS has price point of minimum USD 5000.
