Are Grand Seiko releases getting repetitive?

While I am a great admirer of Grand Seiko and their reliable non-kinetic calibers plus the case-workmanship and nice pricepoint, I see certain monotony in their releases. Reasons being;
1. Too many three hand watches with just the dial variations being the only differentiator. Urushi or Laquer or Enamel are ofcourse interesting , but I would love to see them in more complicated pieces.
2. Very limited or negligible complications except for the usual date function and/or a GMT hand. Surprisingly none seem to even have a rapid date corrector mechanism while setting; and having to move the hands in the 11pm to 1 am arc for the change over several days is an avoidable pain.
3. A few prospex watches in the diver range whose bezels except for the Tuna versions are not in the Rolex league.
4. Robust, but very limited calibers that hardly provide any differentiation.
I am hoping that they reorient their product portfolio to provide a greater variety of complications.
I am keeping the Credor outside the discussions as that is anyway in a higher league of its own.
Thoughts?
Cheers
