I found a way to condition my leather watch straps. 1 wet a towel in hot water 2 wipe the strap and back of the watch to remove all sweat and salts 3 allow the watch and strap to dry for about 15 mins 4 apply cold cream or face moisturiser without alcohol...

This post was like a grandma’s remedy effective, inexpensive, could be practiced by all without any difficulties [nt]

I put Nivea creme inside new shoes if they are not comfortable and might cause blisters.

It works wonders with leather shoes. [nt]

Do NOT use this! It's my favourite leather product for everything from shoes to split dogs' paws, but it contains a distillate that can damage some watch straps. Otherwise, it's WONDERFUL.

I've read elsewhere that NIVEA is good for watch straps. [nt]
