I for one will not miss Baselworld.
Having been to the SIHH several times as well as Baselworld, I thought there was always a strange "bazaar" atmosphere at baselworld...
Seems also MCH was completely blindsided by the news:

that the brands take control of the annual show that exhibits their latest watches rather than the organisers holding them at ransom. I am quite certain that the FHH will do things in the interest of the brands as the FHH represents the industry.
