I like Ti most of the time.

I like titanium when it’s offered, especially for larger sporty watches. Seiko, Grand Seiko, Citizen, Omega, and Tudor all have outstanding pieces in Ti. Bulgari has used it in their ultra-thin models and I’d like to see those.

For me, platinum works best in a small, thin watch where it adds some weight to a dressy watch. I don’t care for platinum (or gold) in a heavy watch (most water resistant models on a bracelet).

One is cheap, light and found in sports watches The other one is expensive, heavy and found in luxury watches Neither does corrode: it is their only common point The only brand for which titanium is more desirable is Patek given ultra low production numbe...

I had a titanium watch by IWC and it was fine

And to answer your question: I would need to try a platinum Lange for comparison purposes but I am sure I would like it quite a bit I tried a platinum Rolex and the weight was crazy

I like both

but for me if I was forced to choose, it would be titanium as it is lighter and given a choice, I prefer not to feel the watch on my wrist so that it literally becomes a part of my wrist as I would not be feeling it. Platinum is fine as long as it is not ...

I would prefer titanium

It is strong, more resistant to corrosion and scratches. The only material better than titanium is ceramic but ceramic can fracture and chip. However it is mainly used for sports watches and not dress watches.

Pt . i personally do not like Ti. [nt]

Titanium every time

I have about 15-18 titanium and two platinum. BTW even though titanium prestige is low, its price is not so low, nor is the cost of working it. Grand Seiko’s “white titanium” with Zaratsu technique polishes beautifully. But I like the IWC rough / dark loo...
