Ulysse Nardin's Dual Time is incredibly user friendly. I believe the Executive version utilizes a ceramic bezel.

The Girard Perregaux world time is interesting and can be found in steel or titanium. Most include a chrono, but there is a version or two that does not, including the Laureato Absolute (PVD titanium).

Sinn makes several tegimented two time zone options if high durability is paramount.

Then there is the Omega Seamaster worldtimer in steel or titanium.

Best of luck!

Ceramic/hardened GMT watches?

Hey everyone, Summer is here and I've been wearing steel watches with short sleeves exposing them to the occasional encounter with another metal object, and that got me thinking about getting a scratch resistant quasi-"beater"; that means ceramic or harde...

Honestly, the LUC Time Traveler One in Steel is made for you.

You said it, you are not that adventurous, and you you are not mad about adventurous watches. So, why not a steel LUC Traveler One? It is not that fragile! And it is pretty nice looking! Best, Nicolas ...

TBH LUC GMT/Time Traveler Black is what I'm leaning

Steel is pretty strong, but 316L picks up scratches really easily The Black versions with the carburized? titanium are probably pretty scratch resistant, but I expect that they'd be more prone to bruising, though maybe that's an incorrect assumption since...

Took a look at the store

The steel LUC Time Traveler One is pretty snazzy with the splashes of red and orange! That said, I feel like the finish is maybe a little disappointing for the asking price (and the 2hand resale) IMO. Very little polishing decoration on the movement, some...

I'm going to suggest something that could get me crucified... 🤣

...what about an apple watch? It's cheap, robust, it can go anywhere, you can wear it without the fear of someone robbing you and it's super light. I know that it's far from the beauty of a mechanical timepiece, but it's rugged enough to actually be usefu...

Actually...

I don't really want an Apple watch but it did occur to me that if they started making bigger smartwatches that could sort of replace a phone, I would probably rock one, as I find modern phones extremely bulky in the pocket. Then I'd add a dress watch on t...

LUC GMT One Black is a little less than Time Traveler, overpriced IMO Bulgari Octo Roma in DLC steel actually looks pretty cool, also overpriced IMO Aqua Terra World Timer w/ black ceramic bezel + titanium case actually looks really good since it doesn't ...

Did more looking

I think my insistence on "scratchproof" is too restrictive, did a little more looking: JLC Geophysic Universal Time: Damn I want to like this watch, but I really hate jumping seconds because they remind me of quartz JLC Master World Geographic: Hard to fi...
